Reading week 3 term 1 2021

 This weeks reading was about the Americas cup and how it all started back in the day. 

I enjoyed this activity because I learned  more about the Americas cup.

Role Model

 We had an LCS this week about who our role model is and why they are our role model.

I enjoyed finding a quote to match.

Who is your role model?

Writing/ Model: (Cheddar cheese and chocolate cake).

 This weeks writing was about things we like and we used a model called Cheddar cheese and chocolate cake. What foods do you like?

My writing:

I am crazy about tiny, salty pea chips.

I am addicted to crispy chicken patties and flaky seaweed.

I never tire of crunching on lightly salted fries or continuously popping bubble wrap.

I can consume a whole bag of crinkle cut potato chips

while sitting on the couch watching tv.

I wear colourful long socks and a messy plait.

I love to shoot some hoops in the sun and sketch different pictures,

and paint colourful paintings on a canvas.

I like fluffy puppies, woolly sheep and scruffy pigs.

Expectations poster

 We had to create a poster that shows examples of all of the expectations. I enjoyed picking out different pictures to fit in with the example.

Week 2 T1 LCS 2021 Distance learning

 This weeks distance work was about family. I liked the memories writing it was my favourite activity on this slide show.

 This weeks reading was all about the Treaty of Waitangi because Waitangi day was this month (6th of February).

I enjoyed this weeks reading because we learnt more about The Treaty of Waitangi.
