Reading identity W4 T2 2021

 This weeks reading was all about our identity and there were a lot of activities to do with our identity.

Hi my name is Ashlyn,

I have messy brown hair and it's normally in a plait. I have dark brown eyes and thick eyebrows. The clothes I wear are usually  colourful comfy clothes like a jumper and pants. 

My favourite foods are warm hash browns, soft prawn dumplings and a small bowl of teriyaki salmon on rice with Kewpie mayo. My favourite things to do are shop, browse online through shops and play video games. My hobbies are painting/drawing and playing basketball (I do enjoy my bobbies I just didn't include them for the thing I like to do instead I put them as two different categories).

How to find the area and perimeter of a rectangle

 For Maths we are learning about the area and perimeter of a shape. We had a challenge to do in 45 minutes and it was to explain how to find the perimeter of a rectangle. Here is the poster me and Eden made:

Reading W3 T2 2021

 This weeks reading was all about elemental identity (based of Avatar the last-airbender). We could even watch a video about behind the scenes work on Avatar the last-airbender.

I enjoyed this weeks reading because I like A.T.L.A

Writing W3 T2 2020 (Avatar the last-airbender)

With in the walls of Ba Sing Se there lived a young earth bender named Ashlyn. She would practise her earth bending all day with her buddy Oma the badger-mole. Even though Oma was blind because she was a badger-mole she could still see because of her earth bending ability.

 One day Ashlyn was practising along side her buddy Oma, they were earth bending. BOOM, BASH, BOOM. "What was that!?" Ashlyn cried. Ashlyn ran as fast as she could to the walls of Ba Sing Se and Oma followed. "I'll just earth bend my way up to the top of the wall". Ashlyn heaved herself on a huge rock all the way up the wall.

 "What's going on?"asked Ashlyn. "See over there" one of the Terra team soldiers replied. In the distance it was no doubt that there were fire nation army troupes heading straight for Ba Sing Se. The Terra team jumped down the wall causing a huge wave of rocks to head straight for the troupes. BOOM, BASH, BOOM. Huge balls of fire started flying through the air but luckily the Terra team managed to stop them with big boulders. 

This time an even bigger fire ball was made it was huge no way were the Terra team able to stop this.

Then all of a sudden the huge fire ball was sent flying through the sky. "NO!" Ashlyn yelled. "OMA!".

Leaping into action, Ashlyn hopped on Oma's back and jumped of the wall. Ashlyn then stood on Oma's back and they started to create a huge bolder it was getting, bigger, bigger and bigger until it was bigger than the fire ball. BOOM. Ashlyn and Oma released the huge boulder it went flying through the sky and hit the fire ball. The fire ball and the boulder crashed down on the fire nation troupes."RETREAT" The fire nation troupes yelled. Just like that the fire nation troupes were gone and Ba Sing Se was saved. 

Reading (My hobbies) T2 W2 2021

 This weeks reading was all about different hobbies. There were lot's of books about each different hobby and there was a variety.

I enjoyed this weeks reading because I liked making my own logo.
