Reading Term 1 week 8 2020

For Reading this week we had new vocabulary words (traffic lights) and we had a new book to read called how to be normal.

For Topic we were creating a slide for healthy bodies, healthy minds. About self confidence and we did it about our self's.

Steps to success

Today for reading I made a steps to success high jump poster with tips for high jumpers.

Maths week 4 term 1 2020/ Data squares

For Maths we had to make data squares and interview people in the kauri hub and collect the data and fill out the data squares. The questions me and my buddy wrote were... What is your eye colour?, what is your gender?, How old are you? and what hand do you write with?. Then we sorted them into piles.

I enjoyed this activity because it was fun collected data.

Words and what they mean/ Reading/ Collage

For Reading this week one of our task were to make a collage on the words we were learning about for reading. We had to insert pictures from google search based of what they mean and write at the bottom what the words mean.
