Reading W3 T3 2021
For this weeks reading it was all about sports and your opinion on sports, like if you like it or not.
Sports or Music ?
Do you choose music or sports, well I definitely choose sports and I will tell you why.
Sports can help you improve skills you already know. Sports can also help you learn new skills such as better communication between people, time management and leadership.
Some sports even teach people how to work together, teamwork. Teamwork is very important to learn because many careers in life require teamwork and that is why you should learn teamwork early in life, sports can help with that.
People can form bonds or friendships with people playing the same sports/sport as them, this will make sports fun because you are hanging out with friends. Even with out friends you can still have fun and enjoy your sport.
Over all I think sports is better for all the reasons I listed.

Mischievous Maisie
GO AWAY! Never come back. Don't read this story. It is so horrible actually worse than horrible, terrible horrible, yes this is terrible horrible. Now please burn this story right now. This is your final warning...okay then, I warned you! Mischievous Maisie, Mischievous Maisie as you can tell by the name is mischievous and I mean mischievous! Maisie always wears a clean white jumper with a grey pouch pocket. Her thick, shiny, black hair covers her eyes, in fact no one has ever seen Maisie's eyes. She wears baggy grey pants and white sneakers. It was a Monday morning at Bumblebee hive school and Maisie was doing her usual sticking mean notes on peoples backs, spreading mean rumours and giving people mean nicknames. "Ha ha there goes Eavesdropping Evie, like seriously who has ears that big!" Maisie says with a mischievous smirk on her face. This was only one of the victims that got a mean nickname from Maisie. Some of the other victims of this mean name calling are Fussy Felisha no one forgot about her after that, Sizzling Sarah, Dumb Daniel and even more. RING! Mischievous Maisie heads off to her class. Maisie walked into her class looking very scary, even the teacher Miss Pot looked scared. "Hello class today we will be learning about..." "I don't want to learn anything, '' Maisie says. "Maisie stop it or you will be going to the principal's office!" "I don't care, '' Maisie says with a grin. "Right, go to the principal's right now". Maisie stands up tall and pulls out a pad of small sticky notes. " Of course Miss Pot ''. Walking out of the room slowly Maisie secretly puts a sticky note on Miss Pots back without anybody knowing. Now of course Maisie didn't actually go to the principal's office instead she went to her locker. "Now what colour should I pick!". Pulling out spray paint cans Maisie shook them up and started making her master plan. "Miss, what's that big bird doing outside" Dumb Daniel said. "What are you talking about Daniel?" Miss Pot said. HAHAHA the whole class started laughing at the note on Miss Pot's back. The note read (I fart smelly farts and they smell like poo). Miss Pot knew who it was straight away! "Mischievous Maisie always being so Mischievous and naughty!" Miss Pot cried. "Miss....the big bird is running away!''Daniel said again. "Huh?". Miss Pot looked out the window shocked to see that there was no big bird, it was Maisie! Miss Pot ran straight outside the classroom and down the hall as fast as she could. She burst open the door to see Maisie standing outside. "Maisie what are you doing....". Miss Pot looked at the front of the school to see a huge spray painted sign that read Miss Pot is a meany that farts a lot. Miss Pot turned red with embarrassment and stormed off to the principal's office dragging Maisie along with her. "Mr. Morning this child has done something so naughty and...". "Oh Maisie my lovely child" Mr Morning said with a smile. "WHAT! Maisie is your daughter...well she did something naughty let me show you!" "What no Maisie would not do anything thing naughty". "Come Sir I'll show you". "Fine". Maisie and Mr Morning followed Miss Pot outside. "See right there!". HAHAHA. " That is so funny, '' said Mr Morning. "But Maisie would never do that". Miss Pot glared at Maisie and Maisie gave her a little smirk. "But Sir it was definitely Maisie!". "I've seen enough, you have no proof that it was Maisie!" Mr Morning said sternly. "Now Miss Pot please scrub the building and get rid of this spray paint". Miss Pot stood there speechless. Mr Morning went back to his office. Mischievous Maisie well for her she kept on being mischievous.

Naked mole rats
Naked mole rats
Naked mole rats also go by the name Sand puppy. This creature is a part of the Heterocephalidae family.
Naked mole rats feed on the roots of plants, they dig underground and find the roots. Something disgusting the Naked mole rat does is eat their own poo for nutrients, it is pretty gross but it is one of the things it eats.
Underground in dry places is where they live. They can be found in Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya.
Naked mole rats are known for their looks. People say their ugly or even hideous, some people say their scary looking. They are hairless and their skin is ruff, wrinkly and tough. Their teeth are long and skinny too.
The Naked mole rat is rodent size making them easy prey. Their main predator is snakes and since they live in West Somalia to Kenya, they often get attacked by the Kenyan boa who lives in the same area.

Sapasui recipe
For this weeks writing we had to do something based of Samoa for Samoan language week our reading was based of that too. I did a recipe for a Samoan dish called Sapasui it is very good.
Ingredients:
Beef, 2x packets of vermicelli noodles, soy sauce, canola oil, 2x bulbs of garlic, 1x large brown onion and 1/2 ginger root.
Recipe:
1. Cut your meat into small pieces (around about bite size) and then cook on the stove with oil over medium heat.
2. Then soak all the vermicelli noodles in cold water to soften.
3.Next peel and crush the garlic, do the same thing with the ginger but separately.
4.Peel and slice brown onion.
5.After that trim the vermicelli noodles to shorten them and then drain the water.
6.Add your other ingredients to the meat one at a time.
7.Then start by adding 1/2 a cup of oil then stir.
8.Add a hand full of onion and stir.
9.Add garlic and stir once again.
10.Next just add the remaining onion.
11. Leave it for a few minutes then add enough soy sauce to cover the meat.
12.Simmer for a few minutes before adding vermicelli noodles and bit by bit stir.
13.Stir until the vermicelli noodles look brown.
14.Add 1 cup of water.

My planet writing
This weeks writing was all about space just like our reading was. I chose to describe what my planet looked like.
My writing:
Pshhhhh, I landed back on my planet. I took one step of my small rocket. pink stardust surrounds my feet, well the rocky ground crumbles. Shining comets pass by twinkling and lighting up the dark sky. The rings that surround our world are made out of thin ice, ice as thin as glass. The mist travels far and wide, it flows with the wind too. The wind brushed against my face as the mist passed me. Here back on my planet. Home sweet home.
I enjoyed this weeks writing because it is my favourite to describe.
What would your planet look like?
